Compliance Policy

This policy sets out the Skylink network criteria design for global code of ethics.

Overview

This policy sets out Skylink Network’s position on Compliance.

Compliance is a core element of our business. This section outlines some of the aspects that are important in delivering services that comply with current legislation. We also offer Compliance Services so that you can focus on your core business while we make sure that legal requirements are met. We believe that how we go about achieving success is as important as success itself. We have a strong set of values and principles in the Skylink Network’s way that guide us to make the best decisions for ourselves and our business. Embedded within this is a commitment to always act ethically and within the law.

Scope

This policy applies to everyone who works at Skylink network in any capacity, whether full-time, part-time or casual, including temporary employees and contractors.

Principles

The fundamental business principles are designed by our management systems that require the ongoing involvement and commitment of management, employees, contractors, and suppliers to seek and achieve continuous improvement in everything we do. Enshrined in our corporate culture at all levels of the company is the responsibility for full compliance and performance of all tasks with integrity, which is also essential for the safety of our personnel and reputation of Skylink Network.

Our management systems are designed to address the specific business requirements, whilst achieving and exceeding our customers’ needs and meeting or exceeding legal requirements. These systems include:

  • International Standards:
    • ISO 9001 – Quality Management
    • 4ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety (OHandS)
    • ISO 14001 – Environment Management
    • ISO 22301 - Business Continuity Management

  • Applicable Statutory Requirements:
    • UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods
    • International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
    • International Air Transport Association (IATA)
    • International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA)
    • International Maritime Organization (IMO)
    • The SOLAS Convention (Covering Safety of Life at Sea)

  • All relevant industry-based code of conduct, guide, or code of practice.
  • All mutually agreed standards designed for continual improvement.
  • All applicable chain of responsibility obligations and compliance and enforcement obligations.

Responsibility

The Compliance Policy shall be implemented by the Compliance Administrator to maintain the above quality management systems throughout the Skylink network.

Compliance and Review

The Administration is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and assessing achievement against measurable objectives in relation to goals set out in this policy.


The Group’s Human Resources and Compliance Department is responsible for all other objectives and initiatives set out in this policy.

Infringement of this Policy

Skylink network has a long-standing commitment to conduct our business in compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations and in accordance with the highest ethical business principles and any violations of the policy will lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal of personnel/contract cancellation.
