Job Overview:

One of the key job roles where we are looking for a senior leadership professional, to overseeing all operations and strategic direction of the company. The role requires a combination of leadership skills, industry knowledge, and business acumen to ensure the company's success in a competitive global marketplace.

He will be responsible for leading the business operations of company comprises the portfolio of shipping and logistics. Ensure operational excellence, financial growth, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness are the key terms of lead. Strategic goals, overseeing the company's operations, managing resources, and making high-level decisions towards long-term success are the integral part of this role.


What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

  • Lead the company in setting business objectives, including revenue targets, growth strategies, and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with the board of directors to develop company policies and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and long-term goals.
  • Identify, develop, and direct the implementation of business strategy (depending on the situation, some criteria may already exist or be established by the organization’s chairman, owner(s), or shareholders).
  • Plan and direct the organization’s activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture, and legislative adherence.
  • Involve in the recruitment forecasting meetings with HR team in order to plan and schedule the future recruitment needs. Directly involved in the Recruitment, selection, and development of executive team members.
  • Maintain and develop organizational culture, values, and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory/official bodies.
  • Involved in the strategies planning process to designed the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Profoundly involved with HR team in order to develop the organizational culture, norms and values.
  • Drive the development of all key strategic plans required to deliver on the priorities of the organization and its partners, including the development of core Council, Community and COVID recovery plans.
  • Proactively involved in the Quality Management system implementation and improvement as per requirement of ISO standards.
  • Set goals along with the coordination of Compliance department in order to achieve the derived objectives from ISO 14001 “Environmental Management System”, ISO-45001 “Occupational Health & Safety” and ISO-9001 “Quality Management System”.
  • Report to shareholders/parent board on organizational plans and performance.
  • Responsible to review the annual and semi-annual audit report of the organization.
  • Provide support and guidance to Marketing support and operation team with respect to logistics and supply chain department.
  • Must able to possess and understand the required knowledge of different departments in order to interact with them in a prospective and consecutive manner.
  • Act as the organization’s representative in its dealings with the outside world.
  • Execute the responsibilities of a company’s director according to lawful and ethical standards.
  • Act as the Skylink Distribution (Private) Limited team by using official domain

Requirements:

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)!
MBA or other advanced degrees (e.g., a Master's in Finance, Economics, or a field related to Supply Chain, Shipping and Logistics industry are preferred.

A vast experience of 15-20 years in senior role along with strategic thinking, planning and management skills, specifically technical or sector knowledge is valuable.

Leadership abilities, decision-making capacity, and the ability to innovate and adapt to changing circumstances are what ultimately enable individuals to rise to the top of an organization and lead it.
