Job Overview:

We are searching for a Financial Controller within an accounting or finance department, providing financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department. From the management of petty cash to the payment proceedings and recordings. Managing financial records, assisting with accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with regulations are some of the specific requirements from this role.

The one who is here for supporting the day-to-day financial operations, a general check of financial invoices, ongoing financial recordings, bank transactions and so on.

A key part of the role is ensuring that all the financial transaction to be posted in the software in a timely manner. It will help to create a clear and understandable record.


What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) to management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Develop, monitor, and update the company’s financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Work with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures to prevent fraud and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Ensure the company adheres to financial regulations, tax laws, and other legal requirements.
  • Conduct audits and oversee external audit processes.
  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow and working capital.
  • Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Assist management with cost analysis, profitability analysis, and financial decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, including accountants and financial analysts.
  • Ensure the finance department operates efficiently and delivers high-quality work.
  • Identify and assess financial risks (e.g., currency exchange, interest rates, credit risk) and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Advise on financial risk exposures and strategies to minimize potential losses.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other corporate transactions from a financial perspective.

Requirements:

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)!
To be on this job role you should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting with professional certifications recommended. Working in industry 08 - 10 years to gain experience in accounting or finance roles, including leadership or management experience.

Job role require approx. 30% travelling.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks), Excel, financial modelling, and analysis. Able to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. To lead and develop a team while managing cross-functional relationships.
