Job Overview:
The Internal Quality Auditor is responsible for evaluating and ensuring that the organization's internal quality management systems, processes, and procedures comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The role involves conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, ensuring adherence to quality protocols, and supporting the continuous improvement of the quality management system (QMS).
What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)
- Plan, schedule, and execute internal audits of the company’s processes, systems, and departments to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop audit plans and checklists based on relevant standards (ISO, industry-specific standards, etc.).
- Perform process audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Document audit findings, prepare audit reports, and present them to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Identify non-conformities, weaknesses, or areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow up with departments and teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented and completed within agreed timelines.
- Assist in maintaining and updating quality assurance documentation and procedures.
- Ensure the company’s operations align with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or industry-specific certifications.
- Review and evaluate quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions, to ensure compliance.
- Identify risks related to non-compliance or process inefficiencies and recommend preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of quality training programs and foster a culture of quality within the organization.
- Track and analyze key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and audit results.
- Report on the effectiveness of quality management systems to senior management.
- Monitor the status of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that quality audits are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and updates in quality standards and regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections, as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to educate employees about quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees regarding audit procedures, non-conformities, and best quality practices.
- Foster positive relationships with other teams to ensure continuous compliance with quality standards.

As per the role of Internal Quality Auditor we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Auditor, Six Sigma, etc.) or Lead Auditor Courses are highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality auditing or quality assurance, preferably within. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), auditing techniques, and industry regulations (ISO, etc.). Proficiency in audit software, Microsoft Office, and other quality management tools.
