Job Overview:

In the charge of Motion Graphics Animator at Skylink Distribution (Private) Ltd you will be responsible for designing creative and professional post.

You will be a team member with creative and smart approach toward the art works. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. Understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project. You are the one who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The position is an onsite and based in Head office.

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

• Conceptualizing ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds and other animation elements
• Creating character sketches for new animations based on design briefs
• Developing storyboards for animation projects
• Designing backgrounds, sets and other elements of the animated environment
• Developing timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements
• Working with the story editors to merge the various layers of animation
• Recording dialogue for the animation, where necessary
• Collaborating with other creatives including designers, photographers and other animators to finalize projects
• Animates realistic, story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling.
• Animates creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras, as well as actions based on storyboards, script pages or descriptions.
• Creates scene layouts using a library of assets.
• Composes and animates cameras in a cinematic style.
• Works closely with 3D artists, leads and the animation supervisor to ensure the clients’ requirements are met.
• Works under guidance of the senior 3D artists to grow and develop the business, as well as implement working methodologies, manage large projects, and coordinate the visual effects output and quality control.
• Works with lead animator to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar.
• Serves as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.

Requirements:

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)!
Bachelor’s degree in animation or computer graphics, 1-3 years’ 3D animation experience, Familiarity with Maya, Familiarity with Linux operating systems knowledge as well as experience in Windows.

General knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD, and Nuke/After Effects, An understanding of aspect dynamics, animation rigging/set-up, and 3D character animation.

Knowledge of the software and hardware used in the post-production process, Understanding of the Visual Effects and associated pipelines.
