Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive, energetic Sales Enablement Manager (Team Lead) who is responsible for empowering the sales team with the tools, training, and strategies required to achieve business objectives.

This role involves leading a team of sales enablement professionals, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and driving initiatives to optimize the sales process.

The individual will work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align efforts that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share expansion within the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics sector.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Create and manage training programs, sales resources, and materials that help sales teams engage customers effectively.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales enablement professionals to support the broader sales organization in their business development efforts.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize sales tools and technology (CRM, sales automation, etc.) to ensure the sales team has the necessary resources to be successful.
  • Collaborate with IT and the marketing department to ensure the sales team’s technology stack is aligned with company needs and market demands.
  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of sales tools and resources, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead efforts to improve sales processes by identifying bottlenecks, automating tasks, and improving workflows within the sales funnel.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for sales success and provide feedback to ensure continuous process refinement.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales data and performance to identify opportunities for growth and areas needing improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and competitive intelligence materials that align with customer needs and pain points.
  • Work with product management and operations teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and market trends.
  • Provide feedback to senior leadership regarding sales team performance, customer needs, and potential market opportunities.
  • Conduct training sessions on sales methodologies, CRM systems, and industry-specific best practices.
  • Coach and mentor sales representatives to help them close deals faster, handle objections, and enhance their skills in managing customer relationships.
  • Organize ongoing skill development and product knowledge sessions.
  • Stay current with trends in the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics sectors, understanding competitors' offerings and identifying differentiators.
  • Utilize data insights to guide the team in crafting winning business proposals and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Develop sales reports and dashboards to track KPIs, progress toward goals, and identify potential gaps in performance.
  • Use sales performance data to drive decision-making and refine strategies for team development and sales execution.

Requirements:

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)!
A Sales Enablement Manager (Team Lead) should have a deep understanding of the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics industry, including market dynamics and customer needs. Analytical mindset with experience in sales performance reporting and forecasting. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in Sales Enablement is an edge. Experience 5 – 7 years in a sales enablement role within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry. Along with At least 2 years of experience leading a team, managing cross-functional initiatives, and optimizing sales processes. Sales Enablement Manager will have a direct impact on revenue growth and will be a key leader in fostering continuous improvement within the organization.
