Cyber Security Policy

This policy sets out the Skylink network criteria design for global code of ethics.

Overview

This policy sets out Skylink network’s security measures to counter Cyber Attacks. Cybersecurity is the key to safeguarding confidential assets – intellectual property, customer information, financial data and employee records. Skylink Network sets a strong posture and policy to protect its network and company individuals from cyberattacks and prevent data loss.

Scope

This policy applies to everyone who works for Skylink network in any capacity, full-time, part-time, or casual, including temporary employees and contractors.

Principles

Skylink network is completely aware about the all-cyber threats and their security aspects and we have the following countermeasures and guidelines in place:

  • Our network administration hosts regular training sessions to educate the staff personnel about cyber security principles.
  • Skylink Network installs and uses up-to-date antivirus, antispyware software, and shielding hardware integrated with the Skylink IT infrastructure to protect our network from malicious or unnecessary network traffic.
  • Skylink Network also has adequate software protection against cyber threats (e.g., Malware, Firewalls, Current/Update Security Software), procedure to prevent social engineering attacks, and data recovery processes.
  • We perform regular testing and inspection of IT infrastructure.
  • Skylink Network secures its technologies, such as VPNs, for remote-user connection.
  • Skylink Network uses advanced licensed IT products and restricts any counterfeit/crack software, hardware, and applications.
  • Our system makes backup of important business data and information and perform back-up inspections every month.
  • Our Wi-Fi networks are secured.
  • Cyber security policy is reviewed and updated quarterly.
  • Each employee has his/her personal and secure user account and strong confidential password to prevent from any cyber-attacks.
  • We require our employees to adhere to the cyber policies and procedures when using their personal devices to conduct company’s work.
  • We ensure all sensitive and confidential data are stored using encrypted format.
  • We restrict unauthorized physical access to computers and network components.

Responsibility

The Cyber Security Policy shall be implemented by the Network Administrator or Designated Personnel to maintain security parameters of data, information or IT assets including software, hardware, and infrastructure.

Compliance and Review

The Administration is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and assessing achievement against measurable objectives in relation to goals set out in this policy.


The Human Resources and Compliance Department is responsible for all other objectives and initiatives set out in this policy.

Infringement of this Policy

Skylink network has a long-standing commitment to conduct our business in compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations and in accordance with the highest ethical business principles and any violations of the policy will lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal of personnel/contract cancellation.
