Fair Trading Policy

This policy sets out the Skylink network criteria design for global code of ethics.

Overview

This policy sets out the Skylink Network’s Fair-Trading Operational Structure.

Skylink Network’s Fair-Trading policy is designed to help trade operations develop sustainable and equitable trade relationships with our clienteles. This policy promotes sustainable development by offering best trading solutions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized costumers and workers in developing countries.

Scope

This policy applies to everyone who works for Skylink network in any capacity, full-time, part-time, or casual, including temporary employees and contractors.

Principles

Skylink Network is completely aware about all laws that are applicable to our organization according to the applicable Companies Act in trading, which enable us to better safeguard our legitimate rights and interests when faced with unfair competition.

Skylink Network’s criteria design for Fair Trade Practice are following:

  • Transparency and Accountability: Skylink Network is transparent in its operational management and commercial relations with their overseas clients and vendors/suppliers. We are accountable to all our stakeholders and respect the sensitivity and confidentiality of commercial information supplied.
  • Fair Trading Practices: Skylink Network meets its commitments in timely, responsible, and professional manner. Our vendors/suppliers respect contracts and deliver services on time and to the desired quality and specifications.
  • Fighting against Child Labor and Forced Labor: Skylink Network adheres to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and national/local law on the employment of children.
  • Commitment to Non-Discrimination, Gender Equity and Women’s Economic Empowerment and Freedom of Association: Skylink Network does not discriminate in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on religion, nationality, race, caste, gender, disability, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or union membership.
  • Access to Markets - Local/Regional/International/Fair Trade: Skylink Network seeks to increase positive developmental impacts in local and foreign markets. We develop the skills of our employees related to Fair Trade Operations. We specifically focus on management development, production capabilities and access to markets – local, regional, international, and Fair Trade.

Responsibility

The Fair-Trading Policy shall be implemented by the Compliance Administrator / Designated Personnel to maintain security measurements set out within the Skylink Network.

Compliance and Review

The Administration is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and assessing achievement against measurable objectives in relation to goals set out in this policy.


The Human Resources and Compliance Department is responsible for all other objectives and initiatives set out in this policy.

Infringement of this Policy

Skylink Network has a long-standing commitment to conduct our business in compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations and in accordance with the highest ethical business principles, violations of this policy will lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal of personnel/administrator/contract cancellations.
